About ToPé

ToPé observes man, culture, and nature and creates graphic works, objects, and paintings based on these observations. His work is constantly evolving. Sometimes it is abstract, sometimes figurative. But he is always looking for connections between man, nature, and material, between the past and the irrevocable present.

He lets his imagination speak for itself and in doing so he seeks a dialogue with the spectator. He triggers the spectator to unravel the underlying ideas. His work raises questions and invites the spectators to take a moment for reflection. He loves it even more when they do not find the answer. Or the question, for that matter...

ToPé has worked in the Netherlands as well as in France since 1998. His work can be found in public and private collections, at home and abroad.
